St. Annes Church, Chapeltown
Flower Festival - 26/27th July 2004

  Ancient Rome

The Flower Festival again this year (25th)
was a great success with over 70 displays

Well over 100 sponsors enabled a beautiful array
of displays based on the Capitals
of the countries of the world

The theme this year was "A Capital Idea"

Welcome to our 25th Flower Festival, "A CAPITAL IDEA" - and so it has been proved
over the last 25 years - a capital idea from the outset. As you wandered around the church,
we hope that you looked carefully and enjoyed memories evoked by our displays. We
thank you for your support and hope you enjoyed the time shared with us here in Turton.

to depict this year's theme. Our thanks are once again due to all who donated money,
flowers, time and talent, and for everyone who worked so hard to make sure
that this festival was a success. Here's looking forward to the next one!

Photos of all the displays can be found on a website beautifully compiled
