The Flower Festival again this year (24th)
was a great success with over 70 displays.

Well over 100 sponsors enabled a beautiful array of displays
based on popular song titles

The theme this year was Sing...Sing a Song

A verse was written for the festival by Margaret Forster as follows:.

We hope you sing as you go along,
Thus helping our theme, Sing...Sing a Song.
Youll find some are old, some nearly new,
Why not sit a while, and take a pew.
Listen carefully and you may find
A soprano or two sat right behind.
For a brief time please join in and sing,
It matters not if the rafters ring.
Just enjoy yourself having some fun,
and then a cuppa tea with a bun.
Thank you for sharing our celebration,
Were glad you are here on this occasion

flowers, time and talent, and for everyone who worked so hard to make sure
that this festival was a success. Here's looking forward to the next one!
